Jonathan McWilliams Founder & Portfolio Manager Mr. McWilliams founded McWilliams Capital Management, LLC in 2025 and serves as Portfolio Manager of the firm. He is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s investment process. From 2009 to 2017, Mr. McWilliams served as a wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch, TD Ameritrade, and other firms. At TD Ameritrade, he achieved the #1 national rank in AUM growth, raising $26 million in new client assets in one quarter, and he supported client portfolios totaling $300 million. In 2017, he transitioned into the technology sector as a data scientist and consulted for Google, Microsoft, and other firms on machine learning, data pipelines, and predictive modeling. He applies this quantitative background to the firm’s investment process. Mr. McWilliams holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri (2008) and completed the Data Science Immersive Program at Galvanize (2017). He previously held FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. |
